Prior to this he executed the MBO of a financial data business of which he was co-founder. Previously he was a career officer in the British Army. Jonathan joined Mergermarket in 2007 following our acquisition by the FT Group, a division of Pearson Plc. He has over fifteen years experience in finance and publishing having worked for The Economist, the Financial Times and Financial Times Business. Before becoming CFO he headed up Mergermarket's new product development team. He is a Graduate of Middlesex University Business School.

Charlie has been covering exclusively European mergers and acquisitions since 1995. His background includes being the senior M&A correspondent at Financial News and co-founder of its M&A monitoring business. He has also been Editor of Corporate Money and has worked at Newsweek in New York. He graduated from the London School of Economics in 1992 and attained an MIA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in 1994.

Hamilton joined mergermarket in August 2001 and has 17 years of experience in Financial Information,
including 5 years at Thomson Financial where he was European Sales Manager for the
Investment Banking and Capital Markets division. He is responsible for furthering The Mergermarket Group's
electronic product penetration into the EMEA market. Hamilton's team introduces mergermarket, Debtwire,
dealReporter, Pharmawire, MergerID and Wealthmonitor to a broad network of clients throughout Europe,
Middle East and Africa. They can also consult on developing customized solutions for clients and assist with
their business development process.

Marc current responsibilities include overseeing all commercial aspects of the Americas in addition to exploring new business development ideas.

Simon is Managing Director of The Mergermarket Group in Asia-Pacific, based in our Hong Kong office. He is responsible for leading our commercial and strategic efforts across the region. From 2003 until 2009 Simon ran Remark, our publishing and events division, having joined the company in 2000 as an Account Manager with mergermarket.com. Previously he was at Egon Zehnder International. He graduated from Cambridge University with an English degree in 1997.

Angus is the Managing Director for mergermarket, responsible for commercial operations and strategy on a global basis. He has been with the company for 7 years, joining as an Account Executive in February 2002 before moving to New York in January 2004 to launch mergermarket in the Americas. In September 2007 he moved to Sydney to open the Australian office, returning to London in May 2009. Previously Angus was at Thomson Financial for 5 years, having graduated from University West of England with BA (Hons) in Business Studies.

Abby is based in New York and runs the global mergermarket editorial team. She joined mergermarket in 2003 as a reporter covering the consumer and media sectors, before being made assistant editor of mergermarket's North American product. She became editor for mergermarket Americas in 2005 and global editor in 2009. Prior to joining the company, she was an associate at the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, where she worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions-related legal projects. She holds a JD from Georgetown Law School and a BA from Bard College.

Ben has been working at The Mergermarket Group since October 2004. Initially working in Corporate Sales for mergermarket, he then moved to the Advisory team, looking after the Italian, Swiss & Austrian markets. In 2007, Ben became Head of Sales for wealthmonitor, a position he oversaw for 18 months. In summer 2009, Ben returned to working on the mergermarket product as Head of Sales for the EMEA region overseeing a sales team of 16. Ben is a graduate of Exeter University where he read History & Politics. Prior to joining mergermarket, Ben held a number of sales & sales management positions in the Technology sector, working for companies such as QAS & Messagelabs.

Previously Brian was with Thomson NewsEdge, Natsource Energy Brokers and prior to that Garban LLC. Brian is a graduate of Iona College in New York.

Silvia Franko started at mergermarket in London in June 2006 by successfully driving the sales efforts in the corporate market across EMEA and thereafter the advisory market in Nordics and London. In June 2009 Silvia was appointed to lead the mergermarket sales team in Hong Kong. Her team is responsible for growing the platform's already well established presence in the dynamic Asian growth markets. The territory includes all of Asia-Pacific including Japan. Prior to joining The Mergermarket group, Silvia has ten years of international sales experience in media and publishing.

Giovanni became the Editor of mergermarket in October 2007 after having been appointed Editor of wealthmonitor in July 2006, post which he still retains. Between September 2005 and July 2006 he was Frankfurt Bureau Chief. Prior to that, he was Italian Correspondent from the Milan Bureau for three years and telecommunications, leisure and media reporter from London for one and half years. Before joining Mergermarket in 2001, Giovanni spent ten months in the Italian Air Force. He graduated in Economics at the University of Brescia, Italy, and also spent nine months at the University of Mainz in Germany as an exchange student. He also worked at Commerzbank and wrote his dissertation degree thesis on "Private Banking in the German market: the case of Commerzbank".

Heather West joined mergermarket in 2005 in New York as a reporter, and led coverage of the oil and gas, electric utility and alternative energy sectors for more than three years. She served as Deputy Editor for mergermarket, Americas, before moving to Hong Kong to head up the editorial team for Asia-Pacific. Heather previously worked at Bloomberg L.P. and holds degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, and the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.

Elias joined mergermarket in February 2003 and is currently responsible for overseeing the quality and product development of the deals database, having initially worked as a Merger Arbitrage Analyst for the dealReporter team. Elias previously worked at Morgan Stanley covering mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. He graduated from Imperial College London with an MSc in Finance and from University College London with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.

Marc joined mergermarket in July 2000, and currently heads up the CRM teams in Europe, USA and Asia-Pacific with responsibility for ensuring clients maximise their investment in mergermarket. He initially worked in the mergermarket research team before moving to CRM, and subsequently spent 3 1/2 years in the New York office helping to build the US business, before returning to London in 2007. He has a degree in Accountancy and Finance from Hull University.

Sandra is the Head of CRM for EMEA, having joined mergermarket in July 2007 as CRM for Debtwire. She has a graduate degree in Statistics and Management of Information and a post-graduate degree in the same area. Before joining mergermarket, she worked at Dealogic on the M&A and Loan Markets products. Sandra worked as a Maths and Statistics teacher in several universities in Portugal before moving to London in 2004. Sandra is responsible for customer service and the training & development of The Mergermarket Group's European, Middle Eastern and African clients.

Jordan is Head of CRM for The Mergermarket Group in the Americas. He is responsible for client relationships, training, and maximizing product usage in that region. Jordan joined the firm in July of 2007, spending 2 years as a CRM for both mergermarket and Debtwire. He is a graduate of Fordham University in New York.

Anna joined mergermarket in London in August 2007 and spent 2 years as a Customer Relationship Manager looking after the Scandinavian clients before becoming the mergermarket CRM manager in 2009. In 2010 Anna moved to Hong Kong to head up the Asia Pacific CRM team where she is responsible for client relationships and maximising client value across all products. Anna graduated from the University of Örebro in Sweden with a degree in Communication.

Sandra is responsible for marketing across The Mergermarket Group. She initially joined mergermarket in October 2006 as the Marketing Manager for the Americas based in New York. Prior to joining the company, she managed the marketing and communications for an online content provider on emerging markets. Sandra has a degree in Marketing and International Business from HEC Montreal.

Hannah is based in New York and is responsible for all Communications/PR across The Mergermarket Group. She initially joined mergermarket in 2006 as the Head of Communications EMEA based in London. She worked for several investment banks including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Societe Generale before joining mergermarket in August 2006. Hannah holds an MA in English Literature and French from The University of Edinburgh.

Mark joined mergermarket in July 2000. After graduating from Newcastle University in 1996, Mark went on to study for a Masters in Information Systems at Christ Church College Canterbury, graduating in 1998. Before joining the company, Mark worked for 2 years at Blue Curve, an internet consultancy. While there he worked and managed database driven web projects including: subscription based, content driven, websites; insurance call centre (claims tracking and workflow) groupware; and intranet "best practice" consultancy.

Yoke Chian joined Mergermarket in June 2005 and now runs the Product Development team. She started her career as a programmer and has been in the online information industry for almost 10 years. She first came to London in 1997 as a web developer for Financial Times Electronic Publishing and then went on to join LexisNexis Asia in 2000 in charge of their Asia Enterprise Solutions team, transferring to London in 2002 as a Global Product Manager for LexisNexis.

Erik joined The Mergermarket Group in March 2005 and has 14 years of experience working in the financial information and publishing industries. As Managing Director of Remark, the market research, events and publications division of The Mergermarket Group, Erik is responsible for overseeing all sales, editorial and operational activity for Remark initiatives globally. Previously Erik was with Forrester Research and prior to that with the Seybold division of Ziff-Davis/Key3Media. Erik graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with degrees in Political Science and Economics and also served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years.
