The Nordic M&A Forum began with a welcome speech by Petter Bakken, the Head of Corporate Finance at Norwegian investment bank Arctic Securities. Mr Bakken kicked off the forum by posing the question as to when investors should re-enter the equity markets. According to Mr Bakken, an investor is already six months late when bank credit volumes begin to grow again and housing markets begin to show signs of growth. This is an interesting take on the uncertainty which currently surrounds the economies in the region.
